Here is my first person, blog-type entry that describes my level of experience and why I think I would make a great Live Be Yoga Tour ambassador:

Yoga is my dharma and has taken me on a beautiful journey from the bottom of the Himalayas to creating my own brand, Youtube, Yoga Savvy, and helping form a beautiful community, California Consciousness. Amy and I have been through a spiritual journey and couldn’t be happier than to spread that passion across the 50 states. Together we are yogis, healers, vagabonds, and entrepreneurs. I guess you could call us your dream-team; we would love to take on this mission.

Let me tell you a little bit about how my yoga journey all got started… I was living in England with my now husband while he was going to university and practicing yoga 5 times a week when I met my friend Amy in the library, we were such a motivation for one another pushing each other to be better in and out of class. We would spend hours after speaking about our goals and aspirations. We both knew we had an intense passion for yoga and wanted to be able to share that with the world. Amy came up with this crazy idea to travel to India and I was more than up for it.

After a few small miracles Amy and I were on our way after just two short months. I found my self, living at the bottom of the Himalayas in an Ashram on the Ganga River. Every morning we were up from 5am to 9pm, it was life changing. At one point I was so horribly sick we had to convince one of the 16 year old boys to take me and Amy on the back of his motorcycle 15 miles through the Indian jungle (without helmets) to find the nearest hospital only to find out the doctor had gone home to take a nap, typical India. I really wouldn’t change a moment of our adventures.

After India I made my way back to Los Angeles as Amy made her way to Africa. My husband and I started an event called California Consciousness where we get up in front of a couple hundred people to inspire, give workshops, and lead beautiful yoga sessions with the most high vibrations. This event has taught me so much about how to help people open up and speak their truth as well push forward our love movement.

To be able to be apart of the Live Be project would be an opportunity of a life time I love nothing more than to learn from the beautiful souls around me share stories to help expand consciousness. Amy and I couldn’t be better suited for an adventure like this and we can’t wait to show you why.
