Day 3 of No Refined Sugar, No Soy, Vegan Challenge:  The Best way to Make Kale Taste Good 

 

Day 3 and the meals are getting easier the flow is happening! at first I felt so lost in this challenge I was in agony and felt like I couldn’t get full I just wanted to keep eating because my body was craving sugar even if you only have sugar in your tea/coffee it is making a difference on your body! 

Sugar has the same effect on the brain as cocaine and if you don’t believe me google that shit lol. I was never a salad person till recently I always loved having them when other people made them for me or I would buy them when I am out to eat but recently I learned this amazing combo that I knew I had tasted before (shout out to Fabian and Heather for the 5 hour salad lol).

I never wanted to order salads because I couldn’t understand why they were so “expensive” after making many of my own salads I now know why. There is so much love that has to go into the process of making it with all the chopping it can be time consuming so the $10-18 salads all make sense >.< and I can honestly say I am officially a salad person…if you want to be a salad person check out the video below for the perfect HEALTHY ingredients to make kale taste good.

 Smoothie:

Banana, blueberry, strawberry, spinach, hemp leaves, hemp seeds, chia seeds, flax milk

 

 Kale Salad: 

Red Kale, green onion, cilantro, pear, cucumber, red cabbage,heirloom tomato, chard, red onion, walnut “meat” (click HERE for recipe), homemade cashew cheese (check out my basil zucchini fettuccine Alfredo post or click HERE), avocado oil, apple cider vinegar
